On the weekend of 1^st - 2^nd July 2006
we celebrated the 50^th Anniversary of
the opening of the present church building.

The church was full - and boiling hot! and we were delighted to welcome
Thames North Moderator, Revd Roberta Rominger and the Deputy Mayor of Barnet,
who stayed with us long into the evening to celebrate over food and
join in the entertainment after the meal - a delicious mixture of European
and Oriental food... and lots of it!

We also took another step towards the Sharing Agreement with our friends of the Chinese Church, so this was a double celebration. Here the District Ecumenical Officer, Revd Jon Dean, signs a Declaration of Intent to share, while the Deputy Mayor and the Chinese Pastors await their turn.
	We have written a brief history of the church from its foundation to the present day, and now have copies for sale, together with commemorative calendars, notelets, videos of the opening of "The New Church"  and keyrings. Please get in contact with us if you would like to purchase any of the items.
