The Church Outreach Projects

The Hyde is involved in Social Outreach by way of an annual project. The projects alternate between a home cause and our support for an overseas need. Each annual project commences at our Harvest Service in September, concluding at the following year's Harvest Service. Each member of the congregation is given a container into which money can be put towards the project, which are then returned periodically at Sunday worship. We also hold various events during the year, i.e., Cream Teas, Barbeques and other social occasions at the Church, the proceeds of which go towards that current project.

In addition to our annual project, every two months we send the proceeds of our Communion Offerings to various home and overseas causes.
